The Treasurefish is a type of enemy first found in Kid Icarus: Uprising for the Nintendo 3DS. This monster is one of the few in the game to not have any specific alignment, but it can be found on every chapter. They are known to constantly transport treasure chests, and it is believed that every treasure chest in the world was dropped by a single Treasurefish. Most of them crate around common items, but a variant known as the Rare Treasurefish drops items that are not often seen, like a higher-valued weapon.
 Kid Icarus: Uprising
In the Nintendo 3DS installment of the Kid Icarus series, the Treasurefish makes its first appearance in the Air Battle of chapter one where it drops a Happy Trigger item. These enemies are featured in the Air Battle of almost every chapter, dropping one of two items; a Happy Trigger or a Power-Up Drop. When they are found in Land Battle, they drop things like Powers and Weapons. However, they can also drop small things, such as food items to heal Pit.
Rare Treasurefish drop much more valuable items, such as higher-valued weapons, higher-leveled Powers and so many other things that a normal Treasurefish would not drop. However, these can also not be found as easily as the Treasurefish. To recognize them, they have been given a golden coloring.
 Idol Descriptions
Nearly all the Treasure Boxes you see scattered around the world were from Treasurefish. Take them down while they're transporting a chest to reap rich rewards! Not allied to any side, they roam the battlefield, dropping their prizes.
 Rare Treasurefish
The Rare Treasurefish is loaded with even better cargo then its cousins! You can be sure that whatever they're carrying is top notch, so shoot them down on sight. They seem to insist on standing out without any regard for their own safety.
