Ornes are terrifying floating skull enemies in Kid Icarus: Uprising. They are shades of blue with an eerie purple aura surrounding them, and they will occasionally emit a bursting aura and open their mouths, revealing numerous smaller skulls. Merely touching them will instantly end your game, regardless of how healthy or protected you are. Their only weakness is the Arrow of Light. They will sometimes patrol a certain area, moving in set patterns and never chasing the player, and might leave after awhile. They can also spawn with a group of enemies or in air battles. Along with provoked Reapers, they have their own background music. Pit meets his first Orne in a secret room of Chapter 4, The Reaper's Line of Sight. Since they are really difficult to destroy your best bet is to run past them or dodge them.
 Tips for Destroying
- Shoot them down when using the Three Sacred Treasures.
- Clearing a room of enemies that an Orne spawned in will usually make it disappear.
 Idol Description
These vengeful ghosts seem to be formed from concentrated misery and regret. All who come into contact with Orne have their minds shattered, with death following shortly thereafter. They are attracted to the life force of their enemies.
